For those of you who enjoyed the first Witcher game and can't wait for the second one to come out (especially after that awesome video) there is something else to sink your teeth in. Witcher Versus is a multiplayer browser based RPG game set in the world of Witcher. You can give it a try at Versus.TheWitcher.com.

In Witcher Versus you're going to lead your character (a witcher, mage or beast) through a series of duels with other players. Similarly to the computer game, you're going to gather experience, earn gold, buy equipment, create potions, level your character and distribute the skill points to create the most effective killing machine.

As wrote a bit earlier in Blood of Elves summary, after getting my hands on the Witcher audio books I got pulled into the world created by Sapkowski. After listening to the second tome I decided that I need more visualization. The story became more complex, things were happening all over the realm, so to understand better what significance had a battle here or taking over a castle there I started looking for a map of the Witcher world.

After quick search I found a map created by guys who made The Witcher game. Even though the game uses few selected locations, the map of the world brings you entire Witcher realm in amazing detail. If you're a sucker for cartography like I am, you will spend hours looking for places known from the books and trailing Geralt's journeys as well as the progress of the war with Nilfgaard Empire.
